Doshimaru

The Wild Beast That Can Sense Magic

Doshimaru

Hidden among the most remote mountains and forests of Myoo dwells the Doshimaru, a magical creature feared for its devastating strength and fiercely aggressive nature.

Resembling an enormous bear, yet far larger and far more dangerous, it embodies the untamed ferocity of the wilderness and poses a deadly threat to anyone who dares cross its territory.

Its massive body is covered in thick, coarse black fur, while its crimson eyes seem to glow in the darkness. Long, powerful fangs jut from its jaws, sharp enough to turn any encounter into a fight for survival.

The Doshimaru is a solitary creature with an intensely territorial nature. It tolerates no intruders, attacking without hesitation anyone who ventures too close to its den or the lands it claims as its own.

What makes the Doshimaru even more dangerous is an ability preserved in ancient legend: it is said to sense magic itself and follow its flow, allowing it to detect the presence of Mages and other creatures bound to magical energies.

Some stories claim that only luminous powder—a substance extracted from a rare species of fungus—can temporarily confuse its senses and give travelers a chance to escape. For that reason, anyone who journeys through the wild regions of Myoo knows that encountering a Doshimaru means facing one of the continent's greatest dangers.
