The Kuji Kiri is an ancient discipline built around nine hand seals, each formed by placing the fingers in a precise ritual position. Its name literally means "Nine Seals" and is inspired by a real practice rooted in Japanese tradition, where each gesture is accompanied by the recitation of a mantra to cultivate focus, inner discipline, and spiritual growth.
In the world of The Chronicles of Myoo, the Kuji Kiri serves as the foundation of Senshi Magic. Each seal channels a different form of magical energy, granting a unique ability that every Senshi Mage can learn to master.
During training, each technique requires both the proper hand seal and its corresponding mantra. With experience, however, Senshi Mages learn to invoke these same powers through mental focus alone, no longer needing to perform the physical gestures.
The nine seals may be used individually or combined to create more advanced techniques, making the Kuji Kiri one of the most versatile disciplines within Senshi Magic.

Rin
In Japanese tradition, Rin symbolizes the strengthening of both body and mind.
Mantra: On bai shi ra man ta ya sowaka
In Senshi Magic, it dramatically enhances the mage's physical strength.
Pyo
Traditionally associated with controlling the flow of energy.
Mantra: On i sha na ya in ta ra ya sowaka
Allows the mage to manipulate the energies flowing through the surrounding environment.
To
Represents harmony with the world around the practitioner.
Mantra: On ji te ra shi i ta ra ji ba ra ta no-o sowaka
Allows the Senshi Mage to enter a state of profound concentration and meditation.
Sha
Traditionally known as the seal of healing.
Mantra: On ha ya bai shi ra man ta ya sowaka
Allows the mage to instantly heal personal injuries or the wounds of others.
Kai
The seal of intuition and heightened awareness.
Mantra: On no-o ma ku san man da ba sa ra dan kan
Allows the mage to sense nearby danger.
Jin
Traditionally associated with expanding the mind.
Mantra: On aga na ya in ma ya sowaka
Allows the mage to glimpse a few minutes into the future.
Retsu
Associated with the manipulation of dimensions and the perception of time.
Mantra: On hi ro ta ki sha no ka ji ba tai sowaka
Allows the mage to halt the flow of time for a few brief moments.
Zai
Represents unity with the forces of nature.
Mantra: On chi ri chi i ba ro ta ya sowaka
Allows the mage to command the natural elements.
Zen
The seal of enlightenment and complete spiritual harmony.
Mantra: On a ra ba sha no-o sowaka
Amplifies the effects of the other seals. When combined with To, it allows the mage to enter an exceptionally deep meditative state.
