Necromancers are a distinct order of mages devoted to the practice of necromancy, an ancient discipline that allows them to reanimate the bodies of the dead. Their knowledge, preserved and passed down through countless ages, has made them some of the most feared and controversial practitioners of magic.
Many ages ago, following a failed coup, the Necromancers were exiled from the Kingdom of Myoo. Forced to abandon their homeland, they crossed the Kaibutsu Sea and found refuge on the Shadokai Islands, where they founded the city of Nekra’i. Since then, those islands have remained their home.
Unlike most mages, Necromancers do not wear traditional robes. Instead, they dress in black jackets and trousers that distinguish their order. The buttons on their jackets are crafted from Tenebrium, a rare magical mineral closely associated with their arcane knowledge.
Necromancy is a demanding discipline that requires exceptional training, precision, and complete mastery of magic. As a result, Necromancers devote much of their lives to studying and refining their craft, carefully preserving knowledge passed down exclusively within their own community.
To this day, the Necromancers continue to dwell on the Shadokai Islands, preserving their traditions and safeguarding one of the oldest and most mysterious magical arts in the world of Myoo.
