Magisilium

The Artifact That Imprisons the Power of Magic

Magisilium

Among the most infamous artifacts in the history of Myoo, the Magisilium stands as one of the darkest. This ancient magical collar, forged from silvery metal, was created to channel the Nullifying Magic of the Shōmashi Mages and used to strip Mages of their powers.

The true origins of the Magisilium have been lost to time. The earliest known records date back to the Fourth Era, when the governor of a distant land, driven by hatred for magic and those who wielded it, ordered the Shōmashi Mages to hunt down Mages and imprison them within the dungeons of his domain.

Fastened around a prisoner's neck, the Magisilium completely prevented the use of magic. Its power went far beyond merely suppressing the magical flow. Any attempt to channel magical energy inflicted unbearable pain upon the wearer, making resistance to the collar's control all but impossible.

For centuries, the Magisilium became a symbol of fear and oppression, embodying an age when magic was seen not as a force to be understood, but as a threat to be extinguished.

Even today, the Magisilium remains one of the most chilling reminders of the relationship between power, fear, and the control of magic in the world of Myoo.
