The First Era marked the beginning of recorded history and the calendar still used today. Before that, no chronicle speaks of what came before. If there were other ages, other peoples, or other worlds, time has erased every trace of them. I could tell you what lies beyond that veil, but the time has not yet come to bring those stories back into the light.
The First Era saw the rise of one of the most enigmatic civilizations in the history of Myoo: the Shapeshifters. They were shapeshifting beings with their own culture, language, and society. For two full Eras, they shared the continent with other peoples, yet today not a single trace of them remains.
The Eras that followed saw the rise of powerful orders of mages. New knowledge spread across the continent, while ancient rivalries erupted into conflicts that would reshape the course of history.
The Fourth Era was marked by profound transformations that would influence every Era that followed.
Over the centuries, kingdoms clashed repeatedly for control of the continent. Wars, alliances, and betrayals redrew the borders of Myoo until, after the First War of the Sixth Era—the most devastating conflict in its history—the foundations of the modern age were laid.
A long period of relative peace followed. Cities prospered, trade expanded, and war faded from memory. It was an age of growth, still remembered as one of the most peaceful periods in the continent’s history.
Today, Myoo stands in the Ninth Era. Many believe the past belongs only to chronicles and legends, but I know that history is never truly finished. Ancient secrets continue to emerge from the shadows of time, and forces once thought lost have never truly disappeared.
