Mage Masaki serves as the court seer and the First Seer Mage of the Kingdom of Myoo. Blessed with extraordinary powers of divination, he has devoted his life to interpreting the signs of fate and warning the crown of the dangers that threaten the kingdom.
His magic allows him to glimpse the past, the present, and the future through the silvery liquid contained within the Kamisu Basin, one of Myoo’s most treasured magical artifacts. Such visions require remarkable experience and keen judgment, for the future never reveals itself with complete clarity or certainty.
After the treaties that brought the First War of Myoo to an end, seers were permitted to serve exclusively in Narashin. Their responsibility is to uphold the peace accords by watching the course of events and alerting the crown whenever a kingdom begins to violate the established treaties.
Masaki wears a long green robe adorned with golden embroidery. His white hair and neatly trimmed white beard reflect the many years he has devoted to the study of magic and the art of divination.
Through his visions, he was the first to recognize that a new war was approaching and that the Kingdom of Myoo stood on the brink of one of the most pivotal moments in its history.
Among those closest to him is First Mage Zaio, with whom he shares a lifelong friendship. Together, they are regarded as two of the Kingdom of Myoo’s most respected and influential magical figures.
