According to the oldest traditions of Myoo, before time began its endless march, nothing existed but the void. Light and shadow were still one, silence shrouded all things, and matter had yet to be called into being.
That silence was broken by a single breath, as vast as an eternal thought. The void rippled, and from that first heartbeat, the Creator came into existence. Born of light, eternal, invisible, and without form, he was the origin from which all things would emerge. Yet balance could not exist without its opposite. From the depths of shadow, a second will took shape, and so the Dark Creator was born.
When the light of the first met the shadow of the second, a primordial spark flared between them, and from that spark, existence unfolded. Time began to flow, matter took shape, and the cosmos expanded, finding order within the infinite. Among billions of dimensions, each concealed from the others by the thinnest of veils, Myoo was born—a world forged by the same magic that had brought the universe itself into existence.
Mountains rose toward the heavens, seas carved their shores as they embraced the newborn lands, and forests spread across the continent. Deep beneath the surface, stone settled into place, preserving the memory of the moment when everything found its rightful place. Throughout the world, magic flowed freely, its positive and negative essences existing in perfect balance, forever intertwined without either ever overcoming the other.
To preserve that harmony, the two Creators forged two focal points to safeguard its power. Negative magic was gathered in the east, where the land meets the sea, while positive magic found its home among the sacred mountains of the far west, in a land the light would never forsake.
Within those focal points, two nameless beings came into existence. They possessed neither bodies nor faces, for they were made entirely of magic. Their thoughts shaped their will, and their very existence was inseparable from the essence they embodied. They were not the guardians of magic—they were magic itself.
The Dark Creator, however, realized that the balance was still incomplete. To restore what was missing, he created a second world known as MyooKai, destined to become part of the natural order of creation.
To ensure that magic would remain in balance throughout the passing of the Ages, two Ancient Keepers were brought into existence in a place beyond time, where past and future exist together in an eternal present. The first was entrusted with watching over positive magic and preserving the harmony of creation. The second was charged with safeguarding negative magic and maintaining balance through the deepest, ever-changing forces of existence.
Once the order of creation was complete, the first magical creatures began to appear, each taking on a different form. Some made their homes within the forests, others claimed the skies, while still others descended into the depths of the seas, transforming Myoo into a living world filled with wonder and mystery.
With their work complete, the two Creators withdrew to the farthest reaches of creation, where light meets shadow and time loses all meaning. There, their essences became one once more, giving rise to the Supreme Creator, an eternal, invisible being who has watched over the universe ever since, never intervening directly in the fate of its worlds.
According to tradition, everything began with that first heartbeat—the breath that separated nothingness from existence. Even today, Myoo endures between order and chaos, while the two Ancient Keepers continue to watch over magic, forever faithful to the duty entrusted to them at the dawn of creation.
