The Empire of Myoo stretches across a vast expanse of the known continent, from the Mujin Desert to the towering Karran Mountains. Beyond that great mountain range lie the Mikai Lands, a remote and sparsely populated region. To the east, beyond the desert’s arid reaches, lies the territory of Yamikesh.
The known lands occupy an entire continent bordered by the Kita Sea and the Kaibutsu Sea, two immense bodies of water inhabited by sea creatures that have fueled legends, tales, and superstitions for centuries. No one knows for certain what lies beyond those waters, and the few who have ventured too far have never returned.
The Empire is composed of ten kingdoms, each with its own identity, traditions, and distinct character, all of which have helped shape the history of Myoo over the centuries.
At the geographic and political heart of the continent stands Chushin, the imperial capital. Located in the region of Narashin, it is the seat of Emperor Eien and the center from which decisions that shape the fate of the entire Empire are made. Its walls have witnessed generations of rulers, wars, and alliances, becoming an enduring symbol of Myoo’s unity.
Surrounding Narashin lies the Empire’s most stable core, formed by six loyal territories: To, Sha, Kai, Zen, Zai, and Pyo. While each kingdom maintains its own traditions and autonomy, they share a common purpose: preserving order, ensuring the continent’s stability, and defending the balance that sustains the Empire of Myoo.
To the west lie the kingdoms of Rin, Jin, and Retsu, lands that have maintained complex and often troubled relations with Narashin since ancient times. Fragile alliances, political rivalries, and competing ambitions fueled tensions that eventually erupted into the First War of Myoo during the Sixth Era. Those same divisions never fully disappeared and continue to fuel the unrest that spreads across the continent during the Ninth Era.
Despite cultural differences, political rivalries, and ancient wounds that have never fully healed, the ten kingdoms of Myoo share a common history rooted in the Eras of the past. It is a continent built on fragile balances, shifting alliances, and ancient forces that continue to shape its destiny, often in ways few truly understand.
